AMX 13 - TELL EL-ZAATAR

AMX 13 de L'Armée du Liban Libre aka Armée du Col. Barakat - été 1976 à Tall el-Zaatar. Après 55 jours de siège, la place fortifiée de Tall el-Zaatar tombe, cette action héroique menée a bien grace à l'unification de commandement de la Résistance Chrétienne Libanaise (william Hawa - premier commandant des Forces Libanaises) a permit de faire sauter le dernier point fortifié palestinien (après la Quarantaine et Nabaa) au sein du Liban Libre. Libérant ainsi la circulation entre les différentes régions chrétiennes de Beyrouth jusqu'au Nord (enlevement, racketing et sniper).

Panhard taken from the lebanese army during the 1975-76 war. The new owners are the Kataebs Al-Loubnaniyah -section Jisr el-Bacha - Brigade Fakhredine. As viewed in picture during the liberation of Tall el-Zaatar (palestinian stronghold located in the middle of the christian area).
